Super Bowl Scam Alert

The Super Bowl is the most watched television event in the United States. Its popularity is fueling scams, which come in the following forms…

Fake Tickets

If you buy off of a site such as Craigslist there is no guarantee that your Super Bowl ticket is authentic. Sites like StubHub, however, guarantee that your ticket is authentic.

Counterfeit Memorabilia

Fake memorabilia will be available from street vendors and on websites. When you buy such merchandise you are buying something of low quality and are essentially stealing because the vendor had no permission to use the logo and sell his wares for a profit.

Non-Existent Memorabilia

The BBB is reporting of sites that are made to look authentic, but do nothing other than use your credit card information to drain your bank account.

To avoid Super Bowl scams, only buy things from sites and places which you know and trust.
