Are you an American Airlines customer? If so, be aware of messages with the title “Re: Your Flight Order N590.” The message sends you to an online survey from which the scammer makes a profit from them. AA is asking recipients of these messages to send the bogus emails to webmaster@aa.com.
According to Spam Fighter, the message has realistic looking specifics that include the flight e-number (8532856), date (28th November 2011), time (11:17PM), place-of-arrival (New York JFK), and ticket price (USD278.02).
Although this particular phishing scam is looking to make money off surveys, future scammers may very well try to steal your identity or credit card information.
